Poll: TMoS characters

In case the Production Weekly item turns out to be true, I noticed that the only character we're familiar with is Galen. I like Galen, but if that's the only character from Babylon 5/Crusade, I'm going to be vastly disappointed.

What do you want to see?

Didn't you say that Peter Jurrasik has had talks on this subject?

BTW, I'd like a mix of B5/Crusade characters as well!

He did say that things looked good for the movie and that there might just be an alien with big hair in it. Those are as close to his exact words as I can recall.

I don't know if that means he has a contract or just if his agent has been contacted, unfortunately.

Also, let's not forget that JMS had to do a significangt script rewrite after the death of Richard Biggs. If he was planning to have Richard Biggs in the movie, I'd say that bodes well for the rest of the original cast.

I think its mix of Babylon 5, Crusade and new characters. I would not be surpised if Galen isn't only Crusade character we see in TMoS.

That would be ideal scenario for my taste.

I would like to see a mix of both B5/Crusade characters. Having only finished reading the technomage trilogy in the early part of this year and then rewatching my Crusade video's I really hope that Galen is in it. I just want to see him cast the spell of destruction !!!

I would like to see a mix of Babylon 5 and Crusade characters/cast, together with new faces, and maybe even some from LOTRangers if possible. So I voted for other...or original B5 cast from any series and more new faces. Am I asking for too much?

I don't care what characters we get. I just want to see capital Shadow ships make an appearance on the big screen

Ask for everything and you might at least get part of your wish. Ask for nothing and you're almost certain to get that! <g>

yuk. Wouldn't really want any of the characters from LotR personally. Didn't really like it that much at all.

If I had to pick one character that was in LotR to appear...it'd have to be G'kar

Having at least cameos from all the major B5 characters would be great, it would also help to introduce them to newbies, with a view towards giving them a more prominent role in future movies. But giving just a cameo to Katsulas, Jurassic, Boxleitner, Furlan, and Cole and Kim would be a wasted opportunity for great drama and tie-ins to B5 and Crusade...

I think it's not a bad idea that a new major character might be introduced, but not more than one.

Hear hear! I agree with you 100% on that issue. LotR didn't have any of the "feel" of the B5 universe. The characters were weak, IMO. I really hated that "holo firing control" thingie.

I hope for any kind of continuation of Crusade!

If Galen is in it, surely Dureena ought to be. They were introduced together and worked very well together.

I also think Gary Cole should be given a chance to continue the role of Giddeon.

I'm not so sure re-mixing Londo and G'Kar in the movie would help. We've been delighted by their relationship in B5 already. Such a strong thme might distract from the new story - whatever it is. Don't get me wrong, those two are extremely talented and I love everything they did in B5. It was a beautiful relationship to see evolving over five years!

I'd like to see Delenn. I'd also like to see Dukat. He could be the center of a whole movie. So would Valen!

I'd like to see all of the Crusade cast and most, if not all, of the Babylon 5 main cast. If any characters from B5:LotR are included, I hope it's Dulann and Firell. I'd also pick Na'Feel, but her name's too close to Dureena's, and it'd look goofy having two characters so similarly named, in the same feature.

Agreed, except that I think the characters of Dulann, Na'Feel and Firell were OK.

Well, Londo is probably necessary, since the Drakh are on Centauri Prime. G'Kar does go there in "Legions of Fire."
